Each year, Wharton Center presents the Sutton Foster Awards program, Michigan’s National High School Musical Theatre Awards contest. In 2022, Wharton Center made meaningful changes to the program that more than doubled the number of schools served in previous years. One of this year’s winners was Mark Bonney from the Detroit School of Arts.
