Katherin Poon, pursuing a double major in Theatre Design from the College of Arts & Letters and Psychology from the College of Social Science, applies both degrees in her work in costume design. Katherin’s goal is to become a designer, conceptualizing the costumes that will be created by the wardrobe department for theatre productions. She channels her passion for costume design in her roles as wardrobe technician and costume shop support, working with a designer to create all the costumes for MSU’s long standing tradition, Summer Circle Theatre.
At Michigan State University, we know that creative inquiry and expression are integral to advancing knowledge, the cornerstone of our mission. Spartans illustrate every day the varied ways that the arts are an essential part of the MSU experience.
