The Creative Writing Program is delighted to invite you to a celebration of Prof. Tim Conrad’s brand-new collection The Machine We Trust: Stories.”
Hailed as “a Raymond Carver for the new millennium” by Wendy Brenner, Prof. Conrad’s debut has been described as “both fantastically fabulist and devastatingly true.” Please join us on April 14, a Sunday (!) from 5 to 6:30 PM to celebrate this marvelous new release, honor a writer’s hard work, and to hear him read from the book. At Hooked (3142 E. Michigan Ave).
The event is open to the public. Family, friends, and children are all welcome. Refreshments will be served.
