Come help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden and learn more about the MSU Museum’s exhibition Knowing Nature: Stories of the Boreal Forest at an outdoor screening of the documentary The Issue with Tissue. This film explores the destruction of the boreal forest to produce paper products and its effect on wildlife and our planet. Through the lens of Canada’s Indigenous people, consider how exploitation of people, extraction of resources, and attitudes about our environment intersect. Presented through a partnership of the MSU Museum and the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.
