March 10, 6pm, 107 S Kedzie
Professor Giancarlo Fiorenza, an art historian of the early modern period, currently teaches at California Polytechnic University. From his book on Dosso Dossi’s intriguing oeuvre to his recent work on Marcantonio Raimondi, his focus has been on the significance and topicality of mythological and alchemical subjects to the Renaissance minds.
All events are sponsored by the Department of Art, Art History, and Design along with the College of Arts & Letters, the Office of the Provost, along with the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU, MSU Beal Botanical Garden, and MSU Department of Theatre.
Additional sponsors include the Luther and Louise Roehm Endowment, the Marlio Endowment, and our primary sponsor the late Stanley & Selma Hollander.
All are welcome to attend!
