ABOUT
The Department of Art, Art History, and Design welcomes Dr. Allyson McDavid as a part of the Stanley and Selma Hollander Visiting Artist, Designer, and Scholar Lecture series. Dr. Allyson McDavid is Assistant Professor of Ancient Material and Visual Culture at Parsons in New York. Her research interests include architectural history and theory from antiquity to the present, with specialization in the archaeology of renovation in monuments and cities of the ancient world. She has a forthcoming monograph, The Hadrianic Baths of Aphrodisias in Late Antiquity (Wiesbaden).
