The Linguistics Student Organization invites you to join us for our 2023 alumni event!
Monica Nesbitt (Ph.D. 2019) is an assistant professor in the Indiana University Department of Linguistics. In her workshop, Monica will draw on her experiences as a job candidate and as a faculty member to go over many aspects of navigating the academic job market.
Ni-La Lê (Ph.D. 2020) is currently a User Experience Researcher at Apple. Her workshop aims to share experience and tips on searching for a job outside academia, interviewing successfully, and thriving in the corporate environment.
Join us also on Friday afternoon to attend our grad students’ 5-minute lightning research talk competition, judged by Monica Nesbitt.
