ABOUT

For this iteration of Broad Underground, join in on a program and discussion about Blackness in the Persian Gulf. Black is Beautiful, Siyah Zibast(2021), directed by Sarah Farajzadeh for the Collective for Black Iranians, and Waiting (1974), directed by Amir Naderi, will be screened. This screening is programmed by Farzaneh Ebrahimzadeh Holasu, MSU Film Studies Program Ph.D. student. Registration for this free event is encouraged.

Broad Underground is an ongoing collaboration between the MSU Broad Art Museum and the MSU Film Studies Program that presents experimental film, video, and new media screenings and encourages conversation around the topics featured.
