ABOUT
Curious how the paper artworks in unbecoming were made? Join Katharine L. DeLamater, Dieu Donné studio collaborator, and John Shorb, Dieu Donné’s current strategic advisor and former executive director, for a conversation about Dieu Donné Papermill. You’ll learn about the creative possibilities of hand papermaking, as well as the history of Dieu Donné’s artist collaborations in paper and the collaborative publishing process.
We’d love to see you at this event!
On view Jun. 7–Dec. 14, 2025, unbecoming is a survey of paintings and sculptures by Diana Al-Hadid that questions how constructions of femininity take form over time.
Founded in 1976, Dieu Donné is the leading nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to serving emerging and established artists through the collaborative creation of contemporary art using the process of hand papermaking. Based in Brooklyn, Dieu Donné’s one-of-a-kind programs include residencies, fellowships, exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, and publications. Learn more at dieudonne.org
